BOOgie DOWN HALLOWEEN DANCE PARTY
and closing reception for "Soft White" exhibit
You are invited to a closing reception for Elanit Kayne's gallery exhibit "Soft White" curated by Joann Jimenez-The Melting Pot NYC/Wave Music/Body & Soul, currently showing at the Brecht Forum. Following the reception we invite one and all in costume or 'come as yourself' for a "Booogie Halloween Dance Party" featuring DJ Jeannie Hopper -Liquid Sound Lounge/WBAI, spinning a marathon set. The party is old school loft style...so bring your own booze, water, juice, baby powder, sweat towel, tamborines, whistles and whatever else you'd like to enhance your dance and have a good halloween throwdown with like minded party people in pursuit of that 'spirit of the dance'...!!! Costume contest. Best costumes receive a mixed CD by Jeannie Hopper+more prizes. The contest will be judged by the LSL & Melting Pot crew.
